This has got to be one of the better the cab sims out there. Coming with nine guitar cabinets, all captured with six different microphones – that can be combined to endless possibilities – there are tonal possibilities aplenty with the MIKKO.

You can place the mics anywhere – in front of the dust cap, half and half, out at the edge, or anywhere on the 360 degree face of the speaker (you can also control mic distance up to sixteen inches).

But wait, there’s more. The MIKKO is also an IR ‘shooter’, meaning you can create your own unique IR files from inside the software. Hear something you like? Export the IR and use it anywhere else you want to. Niiiiiice.

Also comes with eq control and impedance modelling.

At 99 euros, it’s not the cheapest cab IR player out there, but it’s definitely one of the best, and the demo comes with only a few minor(ish) restrictions.
